Another thing I should comment on is the url for the site: http://vouvray.blogspot.com. Vouvray is a region in the Loire in France where incredible Chenin Blancs are made. They can be dry to sweet, still to sparkling, and young to old. They are so lovely. The first case of wine I ever bought was a 1986 Vouvray. It had this honeyed color and wonderful richness. Amazing how they can age. Some of the bottles were already dying, but there were 9 or 10 good ones, and it was only $10/bottle. Also, you should trying and find a sparkling Vouvray…they are a lovely and affordable alternative to Champagne. Vovray definitely opened me up to the incredible variety in French white wines…and this is one small place and one grape!
