This wine is from Oregon and made from the Gamay grape. Gamay is the grape of Beaujolais, just south of Burgundy. You may know Beaujolais Nouveau, which is mostly thin and boring. Well the Brick House is lovely, pure red fruit, low tannin, but a little bit of raisiny richness. It is also made from 100% organic grapes. You definitely want to serve it slightly chilled. It reminds me of some of my favorite red wines called Cru Beaujolais. They have a richness and complexity that may fool you into thinking they are Pinot Noir from Burgundy but they are made from Gamay and are usually a lot cheaper. Some to look for are from the Crus of Morgon and Cote de Brouilly.
