Heading to Chile on a press trip sponsored by Wines of Chile. This photo is from 2009, when I was in Chile with my Mom. Apparently I will be riding a horse at some point, which is an activity I have not taken part in for 30+ years. If anyone has some advice, tips, or words of encouragement regarding horseback riding, please feel free to leave a comment.
This is not to say that I have great trepidation over an activity outside my comfort zone. I relish the opportunity. And certainly what makes trips like these memorable is that they are not just about the wine, but about experiencing a place. So, having said that, this is how I envision what transpires:
