Wow! These wines are great. The rose is 100% Pinot Noir from the Fiddlesticks Vineyard; this is not cheap juice! The label is great, too.
I was really impressed with the Sauvignon Blancs; they are Bordeaux-style wines that can definitely age. I was wondering why make Pinot Noir and Sauv Blanc instead of Chardonnay, but the Sauv Blanc is grown in a much hotter region of the Santa Rita Hills.
And for fans of Sideways, Maya gushes about the Sauv Blanc. I can’t think of a better image than Virginia Madsen sipping on this wine. It would be killer with grilled scallops and a beurre blanc. These are also ageworthy wines. Bravo!
O! O! O! Let’s make beurre blanc!
I asked Jameson for the Pink Fiddle for my birthday. I sure hope I get it.
Jameson rocks, and I can’t wait to plan a party with him where we play retro lounge music, dress in swanky 50’s attire, and drink Pink Fiddle.
Aww, that’s sweet. This wine is a definite PDer.
