Like the Pouilly-Fume, it’s great to drink different wines made from the same grape, same producer, same region, but different vineyards.
2002 Lafon Macon-Milly-Lamartine “Clos du Four”
I have had the 2001 Lafon Macon-Milly-Lamartine, and it is one of the best white burgundies you will try for under 20 bucks. The Macon is a lesser region in reputation, so you can get great value.
The “Clos du Four” had a nice richness to go with the steely, white burgundy. The 2001 reminded me of a Chablis, the “Clos du Four” had a little Mersault-esque richness as well.
