Hey, I feel like Jim Anchower in the Onion: “Sorry I haven’t rapped at ya for a while…”
Hopefully this will make up for it.
I leave for France in two days for a mega-wine tour and harvest experience. I will be working a harvest for Nicholas Potel in Burgundy at the end of September. Before that, I will be staying at Potel’s in Nuits St. George and traveling courtesy of their GPS-equipped van across Burgundy, the Rhone, and Alsace. Needless to say I am unbelievably stoked. In honor of this trip I purchased a 1999 Nicholas Potel Nuits-St-George. Everything about this wine made me giddy: so elegant, lacy, satiny. Ooh. This is Burgundian Pinot Noir; so exquisite.
Will hopefully be able to post while in France!
