I’ve become a regular reader of Quora, a question-and-answer website, because of the interesting queries posed. Now, my definition of “interesting” is quite…broad. Examples from my most recent Quora Digest:
- What are some of the biggest hoaxes in history?
- Have any actors or actresses watched their careers get destroyed by being in a superhero movie?
- How good was British military equipment in World War II?
Anyone can ask, and answer, a question. I started responding to more wine questions, which beget being asked them with increased frequency.
Since I don’t want this endeavor to become a time suck, I limit myself to spending a couple minutes on an answer, not doing any research. I rely on my experience and opinion, which is probably not a bad way handle most things.
You can see all the questions I’ve answered here. But you know what? I’m going start turning them into blog posts here. And the questions are really interesting. So stay tuned.
