The Birth of Saké: A Preview of a Documentary About Harmony

Posted on: May 21st, 2015 by

I had the chance to preview a documentary, The Birth of Saké, that will be screening at the Seattle International Film Festival on May 27th and 28th. It’s a film about harmony, when it comes to the making and makers of saké. You’ll learn a lot concerning the rigors of making saké traditionally, by hand, and how the demanding brewing schedule affects the lives of those producing it.

Watch the preview, and definitely keep an eye out for it screening at a film festival in your neck of the woods.
