Pour yourself a glass and get up to speed on what’s caught my eye in the world of wine. Happy reading and drinking!
One of the best wines I’ve had in the last few years was 2001 Corison Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Kronos Vineyard. (Out of magnum, no less!) If you’re ever in St. Helena, make an appointment to visit. In the meantime, read this great profile:
Thank you @EricAsimov. You capture @cathycorison and the essence of her winemaking beautifully. @nytfood http://t.co/RiCGcpMbFZ

I could link to Eater, but why not embed this short, peppy video? Spoiler alert: Port tongs are involved.
Non-wine link: I am obsessed with this Stray Cats video, vintage 1981. An excellent year for the band. Pair with this wine that has three cats on the label. Hey, the Stray Cats are a trio so it’s perfect.
If you need me I’ll be endlessly watching this Stray Cats concert from 1981: https://t.co/4Sa01JhwWs — Jameson Fink (@jamesonfink) March 22, 2015
Wait, are you old enough to know about the Stray Cats? And my tasting with Cathy Corison was one of my more memorable visits ever!
Jeff,
I am not a Millennial, though I would have been a bit young for this concert. Gen X represent. When I stopped by Corison in 2013 the guest pourer was Hardy Wallace of Dirty and Rowdy.
Best,
Jameson
