Like the MAN in a Box Chenin/Blanc Viognier, the La Vieille Ferme Red is about 8 bucks a (glass) bottle or, better yet, works out to 5 bucks a bottle when you buy it in a 3 Liter box.
Wines from Cotes du Ventoux are a dead ringer for Cotes du Rhone. Same part of France, same grapes (lots of Grenache-based blends), but lower price. It may be because it has less prestige, consumer awareness, and marketing cache than Cotes du Rhone. I would be hard-pressed to understand anyone complaining one iota about this wine, in this package, at this price.
